New Equipment, New Writing, New Horizons
The Mac-Tin CW Productions Indiegogo fundraiser was nearly a success. With the money raised, we were able to acquire excellent base equipment for lighting, audio, sound recording, and special effects. Nearly everything except for the biggest and most crucial part of all future projects; the camera.
With this new equipment however, we shall venture ever boldly forward with what we have, producing all we can in the hopes that we shall one day amass the funds required to complete our Prodction company's equipment roster.
Among a few perks still available upon request, Kelly's first novel, his songwriting self-help guide, a poetry collection, and the knife throwing class all remain available. All proceeds from these purchasd items will continue to go towards funding needed for a camera.

Latest projects - The You-Tube Channel
Kelly McKinney Oct 2014
At the same time as the Indiegogo campaign started for our equipment, so did the launch of our You-tube channel at nearly full strength. On this you-tube channel you can expect to find any and all of our upcoming feature length fan films and series, a wine review show, our debate show, guitar lessons, and a variety of sketch comedy clips we will be performing in the next year.
Already among the videos available are the first few episode of The Wine Corner, our wine review show! (Christmas episode coming up soon!) As well as my first guitar lesson. When the equipment gets here from our campaign, videos will emerge like spitfire!

The Screenplay Competitions!
Kelly McKinney August 2014
I have entered three screenplays into multiple screenplay competitions across the nation. The most prominent of which is the Bluecat Screenplay Competition with a first place prize of $15,000!
Out of the scripts submitted, I have recieved script analysis for two of them. The first of which is Blue on Black, an action western with a high message and a situation never seen in Westerns thus far. Blue on Black's analysis was a good one. The notes recieved on changes to be made just happened to be chages we made well in advance of recieving our anaylsis, and after we had submitted. We suspect there may be an honorable mention.
The second analysis recieved is for Pavees, a dark drama about a boy who runs from home and into love at an Irish traveller camp, where he must survive living among the pavees. The analysis on this script was a complete love-fest. Words such as "outstanding" were used and the notes section was very small and only light suggestions which take nothing away from the story. Also praised was the finer details in the script pertaining to characters making them "jump off the page." We expect an honorable mention at the VERY LEAST for this screenplay.
The final one, of which we have yet to recieve our analysis for, is Tango in Cache; the story of a widowed Spanish grandmother and the adventure she takes with a new, state-of-the-art GPS with artificial intelligence. The journey to retake life by the wheel leads her cross country on a trip that will test her mettle in every way. Just the two of them; Tango in Cache. Without recieving an analysis, it is hard to say where the judges are with it. We expect to hear results between January and March.
