Hello reader(s), assuming I have more than one. Alright, today's Sip is of a Comedy/Drama of untitled origin.

Synopsis:

At a failing hospital with no budget in a shotty part of town, a cynical ambulance driver battles traffic, ADD, and an empathetic attitude while taking people to the last hope they want to have to rely on. When the building is set to be condemned, its is up to the driver to save the hospital, and subsequently, his job.

Inspirations:

Honestly, this one came to me out of thin air. I had this image of a cynical ambulance driver stuck in traffic. One in particular where he picks up someone who needs taken to the emergency room, bleeding from somewhere that doesn't completely incapacitate him. The man is still very lucid and the driver and patient start chatting. When the driver gets caught up in the conversation, he turns the lights off and stops rushing, at which point, the patient is very concrned.

"Why did you turn the siren off?"

"I couldn't hear myself talk. Don't worry, we'll get there. Traffic's just a little slow."

"Isn't that what the siren is for?"

"Hey man, weren't we talking about something?!"

Progress/Production:

This one is still being outlined, but as far as production, there are a lot of closed hospitals in the world nowadays. It could be very easy to persuade a building manager to let you use a few rooms or a floor.
