Your Weekly S.I.P. :
"You get your sip, from my Sip."

Hey there folks. I'm sorry this week's Sip was a day and a half late, I've been busy shooting a Youtube video with a friend, learning Lightworks, and planning the upcoming fundraiser for my production company, Mac-Tin CW. But this week, I bring you some of my geek side (and that's not a typo for "Greek").
Synopsis:
In a world of magic, beings with a special ability known as Planeswalkers travel from plane to plane in the Magic Multi-verse. One plane stands alone; a Universe, where lies a planet known as Earth. The life on this planet has no interaction with the other planes, until one fateful day. A Planeswalker known as Venser, toys with an ancient technology that backfires, stretching the planes of existance, connecting for only a brief moment to the Earth, on the other side.
In Wyoming, a lonely boy attends a summer camping trip. When his troop ventures into a cave for shelter from an unexpected storm, the troop is lost in a sudden collapse of the cave when a tremor shakes the cave they've chosen for shelter. No one on earth survives...
The boy awakens, unsure who he is, he is introduced into w rold of magic like none other, and the adventure of his life begins.
Inspirations:
First of all, at different times in my life I would gravitate in and out of Magic: The Gathering, a card game with a serious following. This would be an anime fan series much in the fashion of a more graphic, darker, and sharper pokemon like series. A boy thrown into the Magic: World, the act of being ripped into another universe bringing him near death, allowing the opportunity for him to awaken as a Planeswalker, the highest hierarchy of soceror in the Magic Universe. When playing the card game, you yourself are a sorceror, and your deck are the spells at your disposal, some of them summoning creatures, others are illusions, others are physical magic, really the posibilities are endless. Being that Magic players usually venture into more than one color (elemental source of the attack) in their decks, the main character himself is a colorless planeswalker, with the ability to learn any spell of any color, the trick is simply gaining the power, or the command of the environment around him/her, so to speak. All of this came together into the series idea.
Progress:
This one is being outlined. I have a friend of mine, a great animator, working on some test renders from an animated short film I want to do with Magic: The Gathering. Although that particular script will be written first, this one requires much more reaearch. For even someone who has been playing magic for nearly ten years, can not hope to know all that they need to for such an endeavor.
Ending notes: I hadn't had a prepared Synopsis for this one. I have a document of all of the ideas I have that are potentially profitable with details abot each prject that come in handy when I'm putting together a Sip from my list of ideas. Fan films and fan series are naturally left out of these (because I'm not counting Youtube $, because that has to come before I can claim it. :D If you've got questions, please don't be afraid to post it in the comments.
