Starring Cillian Murphy, Jim Broadbent, Brenden Gleeson, and Michael McElhatton. A gangster named Perrier looks to exact his revenge on a trio of fugitives responsible for the accidental death of one of his cronies.

This movie has a star-studded cast, some of the best around, many of whom appear in the HBO hit fantasy drama known as Game of Thrones. However, in this dark comedy, we see some of our favorites in roles unlike the ones played in the HBO hit drama.

Cillian Murphy is the lead in this film, whom is probably best recognized by American crowds as Jim from 28 Days Later. Brenden Gleeson, (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, 28 Days Later, and about a million other great movies) plays the infamous gangster known as Perrier. Liam Cunningham, who plays Davos in GoT, plays a funny thief known simply as The Mull. Conleth Hill (Varys in GoT) plays a Irish biker-type who raises rottweilers and shows his soft side. Michael McElhatton (Roose Bolton in GoT) plays Ivan, a homosexual gangster dealing with the sudeen loss of his partner, and this is much funnier than you may believe while reading it. Last but absolutely not least, and the most surprising performance out of everyone in the film for me, is Jim Broadbent, whom most will recognize as Professor Slughorn from the Harry Potter series. From my first seeing him as Sluhorn, and then seeing him in this was at the other end of the scale. His use of modern Irish slang and curse-words are hilarious, man! It's bloody righteaous, yeah?

For the start-studded cast and for the number of times I laughed out loud, I give this film a 7.8/10.

This score is what I would deem high average for the scores I give, and simply because of how the story strings together. It's funny, but predictable in spots. Also, between times we are laughing at Jim Broadbent, also playing a Jim in this, and other bits of humor, parts tend to drag from scene to scene. Still very highly recommended. This movie is a great laugh.
